today during science lesson, we could do our own things but i kinda had nothing to do so i continued writing the story the i,olivia and rachel started on during chinese lesson.
here it goes:

[hER] story:
Freshman at Lehigh College. Katelyn Cuthbert entered the unfamiliar wooden doors.
As she walked along the hallway, heavy with books, she relunctantly walked towards
locker.

Standing beside her locker was a guy with hair the colour of teak wood, stunning blue
eyes She can't stop staring at his butt; they were eye magnets. Katelyn walked beside
him, hoping to be noticed. When Katelyn closed her locker, she found him staring at her.
There was chemistry going on between them. She found out that his name was Luke.
Soon they got to know each other better and they became close friends after that.

For the next few years in college, they were called the 'duo', always seen together. Both of
them knew that they were more than friends.

Graduation day finally came. At the end of the ceremony, Luke came rushing over to her.
in his hands was a scholarship to a Paris reknown design school. Luke asked Katelyn if he
should go. Katelyn forged a smile and said:" Yes! You should go. It's a once in a lifetime
chance. You should't miss it." That afternoon, Luke left.

Alone at the graduation party, Katelyn sat alone in a corner, sunk into the sofa, clutching
her legs like a little girl, ready to be caned for stealing candies. It all happened too fast for
Katelyn to accept it.

Then, a familiar voice whispered into Katelyn's ears:"You knew i wouldn't leave." Katelyn
turned around and gave Luke a tight hug, like a child hugging her mom when she knew she
was going to be sold. But the deal had to be done, the girl had to be given to the buyer
eventually. Luke died a year after in a car accident. Both of them were inside the car. How
Katelyn wished it was her that died.

Life was hard after Luke died. Everything changed. People around her was observing her,
curious how life went on for her after Luke's death. It was like losing a part of her. Many
times had she woke up in bed with pillows soaked in tears. She even thought of taking her
her own life but Luke's last words kept on ringing in her head. Be strong, everyday is a gift, treasure it, like how we had and always treasured each other.
